The SEA module is one capability of the portal. It lets an authenticated user define a territory, select an exact dataset version, draft a structured section, receive review comments, and generate a PDF representation.

Pilot workflow

  1. Sign in with the local pilot account.
  2. Create a project.
  3. Paste GeoJSON or upload a Polygon/MultiPolygon GeoJSON or GeoPackage AOI.
  4. Select Synthetic planning zones, version 1.0.0.
  5. Save the baseline section.
  6. Download the generated draft PDF.

Safeguards

  • Projects are private to their owner.
  • Dataset versions remain explicit.
  • AOI geometry is validated.
  • Changes create audit events.
  • Reports are generated from structured data.
  • Human users retain responsibility for every conclusion.
Warning

The pilot is not a legally complete SEA system. Its methodology, templates, roles, review process, and regulatory controls require specialist validation.
